Went paddling in Picardia, had a great time. Met a group of French paddlers and finally bumped into some Pingo guys from Antwerp.

Another French guy smurfing. Tidal wave, so everyone's trying to get the best out of the couple of hours when the wave is good. |

Jan (not Jan Vdh) from Pingo, Antwerp, side surfing on the Upper wave between the sluice gates. It's difficult to get there, pulling yourself upstream against the wall and gates. Of course you can portage back up after every run ... boringggg. (Wouldn't a low brace be better, keeping that paddle low? Oops.) |
